The Black Crowes have a new album(their first in seven years) coming out next week. Listen to the FBY for a preview and also listen for the new song, "Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution" on the FBY this week. It sounds great. I love the vibe...it's like the early 90's Crowes stuff.

Have you signed up yet to win your tickets to Bristol Motor Speedway.......Go by and see our friends at Kelly Motors in Elkins or Bill Kelly Chevrolet in Buckhannon to register to win an Automotive Care Prize Pack(an oil change or car wash) and you'll be qualified to win tickets to the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Races at Bristol the weekend of March 15th and 16th. The Ultimate NASCAR Getaway to Bristol from Kelly Motors and Classic Rock 102.3 The FBY!!!

Congratulations to Coach Bill Bennett and the Robert C. Byrd Eagles basketball team. They finished up their regular season on Saturday night with a win over St. Albans. The Eagles will open the playoffs on Saturday night at 7pm on 102.3 the FBY. Bill Nester will have the play by play and tip off is at 7:30pm. A possible rematch with arch foe Bridgeport is on the horizon. This could be interesting. The Indians lost twice to the Eagles this season. Dropping a close two point decision on December 22nd and a heartbreaker several weeks back on a last second shot by RCB. I think it's gonna be fun. Join us for all the action!

Congrats also to Bridgeport and Elkins girls basketball teams. They'll square off for the Class AAA Region 4 tournament tonight at 7:3opm!! Good luck to both!
